Forgive
"When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgives."
-Alan Paton
Alan Paton has gave us all word of wisdom.Forgiveness you might ask what does that have to do with me being happy? Well it has a lot to do with your happiness with others and within ourselves. This is a true statement and we all can agree that we aren't perfect we all make mistakes and sometimes we hold other's mistakes done to us inside. Forgiveness leads to happy destinations. When something is done to us we won't heal until we forgive. Forgiveness is he only way to heal. At times it might be hard to forgive but if you want to be happy within yourself you have to forgive. Not forgiving leads to bitterness and resent. To forgive means to not hold anything against someone or something and to let go of a harsh feeling. When we forgive we feel better. A question we should think about is what good does holding something against someone or something that has wronged you help you. The answer is it doesn't it just makes you more upset when you have a gut feeling telling\constantly reminding you of what was done wrong. We all have flaws and imperfections but it's our job to embrace our own and everyone else imperfections. Well why? Because someone might do something to us not intentionally but accidentally &sometimes some of the things that are done to us for a reason. When one door is closed another one is opened. This relates to what Alan Paton stated because sometimes the things that people do to us are a wake up call to something or sometimes won't benefit us at the moment but later on will. The lesson here is to forgive and without forgiving you don't be happy within yourself, other, or any other form or shape.
