Importance Of Family Values

Family values

What are family values?

Family values, sometimes referred to as familial values, are traditional or cultural values that pertain to the family's structure, function, roles, beliefs, attitudes, and ideals.
I thought to talk about this topic because my family is very family orientated and this is just a traditional trait that has been passed down by generations to generations.

Traditional family values are important because they are the glue that holds a family together. Monogamy within marriage, loyalty, duty, respect and perseverance contribute to a sense of safety and comfort, both between the spouses and with the children. All families should have a system of family values and things that will always be carried. This helps keep the family socially and physically involved. This is why I think family values are important and all families should try to have some. "When you use a muscle in your body over and over again in a certain way, it makes the muscle stronger. Sharing experiences over and over again in a certain way strengthens a family." Traditions give the family stability and a feeling of belonging. Values and beliefs are often reinforced through our traditions.

"Another" Student Success Statement

Another

"When you tell one lie, it leads to another"
-Paul Hatch
When you tell one lie it leads to another and another and another. Telling a little or big lie is still considered a lie. However, telling lies are not being trustworthy because if you are known for being a lair when something actually happens that is true or you try to tell the truth one day no one is going to believe you. That's why its important to always tell the truth and to be responsible. Remember a big or partial of a lie is still considered a lie. Tell a lie once and all your truths will become questionable. One lie leads on to many more. For example if you always ask your mom to go out somewhere and you tell her you are going to be at a specific place and if she goes and you aren't their trust would be lost. Next time you want to go somewhere you might not be allowed to because if you say you are going to one place it's going to be remembered the last time you said something and it was a lie. This is why it isn't good to say lies because then it becomes a habit.
