Reflection: I would want to be a recreation therapist because I love to help people in need when I can. However, what is a much better way to help people everyday of your life. Not only will I be doing something that I have a passion for but I can relate to mental ill people because at one point some one in my family wasn't in the right state of mind. This is a good career for someone who interacts well with people. Lastly, with is a career that will help you get closer with people if you aren't that good with communication skills. Some skills you might want to practice if you are interested in this career is communication skills, listening skills, critical thinking skills, and PATIENCE. Patience is the main skill you would need for working with mental ill people because you have to remember they don't think as well as they use to and aren't hands on things.
